Never thought I’d see the day when formal Eternal star Louise Rednapp and Ray Winstone were in a film together let alone playing a married couple but in Hot Potato, that is exactly the case. Here’s the first trailer and images for the new movie which is being released in the UK September 10th. The film also stars Jack Huston, Colm Meaney, David Harewood, John Lynch, Lois Winstone and is directed by Tim Lewiston.
It has a Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels vibe about it which to be honest can only be a good thing. Have a watch of the trailer and let us know what you think in the comments section below.
The year is 1969, and after a government research centre explodes, Kenny (Winstone) and pal Danny (Jack Huston) obtain a potentially lethal package. But after discovering the value of the radioactive material, they rope in Danny’s girlfriend – played by Ray’s real life daughter Lois Winstone – to help them broker a deal.
