Remember Cannes last year? We had Inglourious Basterds, A Christmas Carol and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. This year, there’s a bit of Robin Hood, some Tamara Drew and probably a whole lot more promotional material from all the other big movies coming out later on this year. Simon Gallagher is our man on the ground in Cannes this year and he’ll be bringing reports from the Film Festival over the next week.
The chaps from Empire Magazine are out there too and have found a brand new poster for Jack Black’s new movie, Gulliver’s Travels which is based on the novel by Jonathan Swift written back in the 1700’s. It’s directed by Rob Letterman and also stars Emily Blunt, Jason Segel, Billy Connolly and Catherine Tate.
It’s scheduled for release late 2010 and will also be in 3d.
