The Ford Brothers are set to unleash their African set zombie thriller on the all-too-suspecting fans at Frightfest this weekend in London and there’s a trailer doing the rounds to tease the zombie faithful.

Jon and Howard Ford wrote and directed this film, and if their appearance on last week’s Radio 5 Movie Show is anything to go by, the shoot was every bit as harrowing as the film they were making.

Determined to make this a zombie film apart from the city bound undead carnage fest the Ford Collective opted to find a new locale in which to set their story, and while gamers may cite Resident Evil 5 as having done this before (and faced claims of racism for doing so), the trailer does a good job of enticing the brainthirsty.

The synopsis looks like this,

In the very near future, most of the world has succumbed to the virus of the living dead. After crashing off the coast of Africa, Lt. Brian Murphy battles for survival across the terrible terrain of Africa in search of a way to get back to his beloved family in the USA. Saved by local military man Daniel Dembele, who is also searching for his son, both men join forces, all the while battling against the ever-present threat of the living dead.
