Netflix has released a stunning new trailer for the upcoming second season of the acclaimed series The Crown.

Claire Foy and Matt Smith return to their Royal duties as Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip alongside some fresh faces joining the British establishment including Michael C. Hall (Dexter) as John F. Kennedy, Matthew Goode (Stoker) as Antony Armstrong-Jones and Jodi Balfour (Quarry) as Jackie Kennedy.
Season 2 will be broadcast on Netflix from December 8.
The Crown Season 2 Synopsis
Beginning with soldiers in Her Majesty’s Armed Forces fighting an illegal war in Egypt, and ending with the downfall of her third Prime Minister, Harold Macmillan after a devastating scandal, the second season bears witness to the end of the age of deference, and ushers in the revolutionary era of the 1960s.
