Amazon Prime has debuted the first trailer for the upcoming third season of the extremely violent but equally brilliant ‘The Boys.’
Karl Urban is back as Butcher and going by the trailer, he now has his own superpower, that of laser eye beams. The trailer also shows the first footage of Soldier Boy, played by Jensen Ackles, in action, though it’s only a few quick glimpses of him in between action shots. There is also a sequence that can only be described as influenced by James Gunn’s opening sequence to Peacemaker. Yes, you guessed it, they have managed to incorporate a little dance number somewhere in between. No matter what happens this season, it’s bound to be even more messed up in its violence and gore, exactly what we have come to expect.
