Affleck has an impressive cast for his latest film, including Bryan Cranston, John Goodman, Scoot McNairy, Kyle Chandler, Alan Arkin Clea DuVall as well as a Red State Reunion of Michael Parks and Kerry Bishé. Goodman gets the best lines in the trailer and frankly the man could sell any film to me but the main draw here has to be Affleck whose films so far have shown much improvement over its predecessor – a trend which the success of this film will determine.
Warner Bros. have just released the first trailer for the film and though it’s a little uneven in terms of tone (deathly serious/screwball spy flick/sadness and doom) Affleck knows how to suffuse the atmosphere of his films with a tangible sense of threat which looks as if it’ll be in much demand for this story.
