2. Electro
Strangely, Electro – who has been billed as The Amazing Spider-Man 2’s main villain up until now – isn’t featured in this trailer anywhere near as much as you might expect.
However, what we do see is extremely impressive, and it sounds as if he has two main goals in the sequel. To rid New York City of both its power AND Spider-Man! Despite the fact that there are a few instances of what appears to be unfinished CGI in this first look at the sequel, Electro’s scenes look extremely impressive, and the trailer promises an epic showdown in both Times Square and some sort of electrical facility.
It also seems as if his powers will be similar to that of the Ultimate version of the villain as he could turn himself into electricity rather than just shooting it from his body.
