7. Venom And Morbius
Are these harmless Easter eggs or a hint at what’s to come? If you take a closer look at the screen that Dane DeHaan’s Harry Osborn brings up in Oscorp, you’ll see mentions of both Venom and Morbius. The latter is a vampire of sorts, but Venom is a character who Sony has been hoping to bring to the big screen in his own spinoff for a while now.
While the black suit is an alien symbiote in the comics and Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 3, the Ultimate Universe revealed that it was created by Peter Parker’s father in a bid to cure cancer. That would make perfect sense for this universe, especially with Oscorp’s role in the franchise as a villainous entity responsible for all of Peter’s troubles!
