5. Doctor Octopus And Vulture
Well, this was unexpected! The same man who appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man’s baffling mid-credits scene returns here, walking past cases which house Doctor Octopus’ arms and The Vulture’s wings!
Showing these is far too big of a deal for them to be simple Easter eggs, leading us to wonder whether Spidey faced these villains in the gap between the two movies (leaving the door open for them to return as part of the Sinister Six without the need for complicated backstories) or are just there as an indication that we’ll see them in The Amazing Spider-Man 3.
It’s been said that Oscorp is the true villain in this franchise, so this is most likely an indication that they will have something to do with their creation. Surely Sony didn’t spoil their after-credits scene by showing this though?
