Since the LFF has declared itself very much a festival for the public the number of high profile world premieres has fallen away. However this year Clare Stewart and her team have brought one of the rare first looks to the capital with James Kent’s Testament of Youth.
Alicia Vikander leads the film as a marvellously spunky Vera Brittain (upon whose memoirs the film is based), and she is joined by a stellar cast including Kit Harrington, Anna Chancellor, Dominic West and Hayley Atwell.
