Apple TV has released the official trailer for the long-awaited fourth season of ‘Ted Lasso,’ giving fans their first look at the next chapter of the Emmy-winning comedy series. With Jason Sudeikis returning as the endlessly optimistic coach, Season 4 takes Ted into uncharted territory as he embarks on his biggest coaching challenge yet.

After the emotional events of the previous season, Ted heads back to Richmond, but this time he isn’t taking charge of AFC Richmond’s men’s side. Instead, he’s tasked with coaching a second-division women’s football team, opening the door to a fresh story packed with heart, humour and the uplifting spirit that made the series a global phenomenon.

The new trailer teases another inspiring journey as Ted and his players discover that sometimes the greatest victories come from taking risks. Throughout the season, the team learns to leap before they look, embracing opportunities and believing in themselves in classic Ted Lasso fashion.

Jason Sudeikis once again stars as Ted Lasso while also serving as executive producer on the acclaimed series.

Season 4 also reunites many beloved faces from the award-winning ensemble. Hannah Waddingham returns as Rebecca Welton alongside Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt and Jeremy Swift. Joining the cast this season are Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsay, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern and Grant Feely, bringing a host of new characters to Richmond’s expanding football world.

The ten-episode fourth season premieres on Wednesday, 5 August 2026, with its debut episode on Apple TV. New episodes will then be released weekly every Wednesday, culminating in the season finale on 7 October 2026.
