olly moss totoroOk, words are a little perfunctory when it comes to posts with the name of Olly Moss in the headline but I’ll do my best to give you something to wipe the drool from your chin with once you’re done pouring over the posters below.

We’ve just been sent these new posters to celebrate the Studio Ghibli retrospective being held in New York over the months of December and January and, as usual, artist Olly Moss has managed to create something totally in keeping with the spirit of the film while making something new and unique.

This is the first time that Mondo have put out a print for a Ghilbi film, and if there’s any justice then there’s be more in our future. Those brave enough to wait by their twitter feeds on the 16th of December can follow @MondoNews who will be announcing when you can buy the print online.

There are only 400 of the English poster and 150 of the Japanese variant (prices $50/$90) so you’ll have to be quick but all profits go to Ghetto Film School, a non-profit organization with the mission to educate, develop and celebrate the next generation of great American storytellers.

Here are the posters, and they are just amazing. Top darts Mr. Moss.
