class=”alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-132538″ title=”Craig Zobel – SXSW” src=”https://www.heyuguys.com/images/2012/03/Craig-Zobel-SXSW-220×150.jpg” alt=”” width=”220″ height=”150″ />I’ve made it no small secret that Craig Zobel’s new dramatic/thriller Compliance is one of my favorite movies of the past year.  It’s a hauntingly wonderful x-ray into the human psyche that makes each and every one of us question the breaking point of our ethical ideals.  This stunning quality to the film, plus it’s increasingly wonderful crowd response, is one of the main reasons that this film did so well at Sundance, and has now been chosen to make audiences at the SXSW Festival squirm in their seats.

I recently got a chance to sit down with Craig Zobel and he was able to offer up some wonderful new perspective on the creative process surrounding the film.  Check it out below!
