It’s no surprise really that with a Star Trek 2 film in the works, that a game can’t be too far behind. And you know what? it’s not. Digital Extremes and Namco Bandai have lifted the lid on their new Star Trek Game and we have the trailer and screens to prove it.
The new Star Trek Game will have a full cast of talent on board. Coming from the folks who bought us BioShock 2, Dark Sector, and The Darkness 2. G4TV are reporting that JJ Abrams screenwriters Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, and Damon Lindelof are also on board. But that’s not all, Star Trek also has Marianne Kramczyk, the award-winning author of the God of War Series!
So, it looks like the game is in good hands, and having been in development for the 3 years, and a speculative release date of 2013 so it’s had more time spent on it than most other games. Could this be the game to put to bed the curse of the movie/game tie-in?
