Of late Melissa McCarthy has suffered the fate of many comedians in Hollywood. The imbalance of a strong talent and a weak script has scuppered many a fine actor in their time, and recently McCarthy’s films have fallen short of her potential.

It’s with high hopes then that Spy, her latest collaboration with director Paul Feig ahead of the much anticipated Ghostbusters film, enters UK cinemas. This evening saw the UK Premiere of the film and we heard from the director and cast members Nargis Fakhri, Jessica Chaffin, Allison Janney, Jude Law and Jason Statham under the sunny London sky.

Here are the interviews from this evening conducted with the charm and panache one would expect from the team of Cassam Looch and Colin Hart.
