To celebrate the release of Ken Loach’s latest acclaimed film, Sorry We Missed You, we sat down with the man himself, writer Paul Lafferty and the cast of the film.

Setting his sights on zero-hour contracts and the economic state of the UK, the film, starrs Kris Hitchen, Debbie Honeywood, Rhys Stone and Katie Proctor, and tells the story of Ricky and his family who have been fighting an uphill struggle against debt since the 2008 financial crash. An opportunity to wrestle back some independence appears with a shiny new van and the chance to run a franchise as a self-employed delivery driver. SORRY WE MISSED YOU is a powerful exploration of the contemporary world of work, the gig economy and the challenges faced by one family trying to hold it all together.
