Netflix has revealed a chilling set of first-look images alongside the release date for its upcoming horror series ‘Something Very Bad is Going to Happen,’ and the title is doing a lot of ominous heavy lifting. The atmospheric new show will premiere globally on 26 March.
Created by Haley Z. Boston, the series is produced by the executive producers of ‘Stranger Things’ and directed by the filmmaker behind ‘Baby Reindeer’.
Set almost entirely in the tense days before a wedding, the story follows a bride and groom as the countdown to their nuptials becomes a slow-burning descent into horror. The outcome is hardly a mystery. The journey there is the point.
The series stars Camila Morrone (Daisy Jones & The Six, The Night Manager) and Adam DiMarco (The White Lotus, Overcompensating) as the ill-fated bride and groom. They are joined by a formidable supporting cast including Jennifer Jason Leigh, Ted Levine, Gus Birney, Jeff Wilbusch, Karla Crome, and Zlatko Burić.
