Netflix has dropped a teaser trailer for the animation series ‘Skull Island’ which is based within the same monster verse as the ‘Godzilla vs. Kong’ films.
The series will follow a group of explorers who rescue a woman named Annie from the ocean, only for their heroic efforts to land them shipwrecked on the treacherous and mysterious Skull Island, home to bizarre creatures and terrifying monsters.
Nicolas Cantu will perform the voice role of the protagonist, Charlie, alongside Mae Whitman as Annie, Darren Barnet as Mike, Benjamin Bratt as Cap and Betty Gilpin as Irene. Events will reportedly take place after those in 2017’s ‘Kong: Skull Island’.
