At the start of the month we set UK filmmakers a task to make a short, scary film to celebrate the opening of Sinister 2. They had to terrify, unnerve, and startle us in under a minute; in short they had to make their own Sinister Home Movie.
The winning filmmaker would not only be the recipient of a new iPad but their film will be immortalised on the UK DVD of Sinister 2.
Today we can announce the winner of the competition is Elliott Maguire with the short ‘Birthday Wishes‘.
There were a number of very eerie entries, many of which you can find if you search the hashtag #SinisterHomeMovie on YouTube, Twitter and Instagram and Ciarán Foy, the director of Sinister 2, made a fine choice.
