Scott Pilgrim vs. the World is barely a month away, and with the San Diego Comic Con this weekend the already impressive marketing campaign has reached overdrive.
Over the last few days we’ve seen two new posters, seven remixes of the trailer, and an entire hotel exterior branded to promote the movie. Now MTV have scored an exclusive clip from the film. And like everything else we’ve seen so far, it has the feel of the comics, without being a slave to fidelity.
It’s pretty safe to assume we’ll be getting even more Scott Pilgrim news over the next few days. In addition to tomorrow’s panel discussion, there looks to be a fair bit of Pilgrim-pushing going on at the con, certainly if this pic, taken by /Film’s Peter Sciretta, is anything to go by.
There’s also the small matter of the sixth and final volume of the comic series, Scott Pilgrim’s Finest Hour, which was released yesterday. It’s not really the place here for a review, but in short, it’s very, very good, and wraps up the story nicely.
