Out on Friday, She Will is a horror film that sees a famed Hollywood actress head to a Scotland for a retreat. She discovers that the process of such surgery opens up questions about her very existence, leading her to start to question and confront past traumas. The two develop an unlikely bond as mysterious forces give Veronica the power to enact revenge within her dreams.
We spoke to director Charlotte Colbert and legendary actor Malcolm McDowell about where the story came from, and what it’s like to play an antagonist dealing with his historic crime.
We also had an incredible talk with lead actresses Alice Krige and Kota Eberhardt about shared experiences and trauma that bond women together as well as getting into the mud and history of our ancestors.
