The reaction to STYD‘s discovery that Saw VII has been renamed Saw 3D: The Traps Come Alive is akin to that of the Ana…sorry, 5nal Destination title reveal.

Saw 6 director Kevin Greutert returns to inflict even more pain and torture on the audience, only this time – it’s all in 3D!

Like the putrid ruins of the family pumpkin rotting on the porch, the Saw films are a Halloween tradition and while I left them behind a long time ago they are still pulling in the punters every October.

Newcomers like Paranormal Activity are looking to build their franchises on the graves of the Saw films there’s still life in this dead and mangled horse to push one (presumably) final movie out. Unless there’s another one, one incorporating Smellovision, which we think should be titled: Saw VIII: Scratch & Sniff.

And the new poster we alluded to in the title for the post is just something which sprang to mind on hearing the title…
