Samara Weaving has joined the star-studded cast of ‘Naughty,’ Universal Pictures’ upcoming holiday comedy directed by Olivia Wilde, which already boasts Jennifer Aniston, Peter Dinklage, Chase Sui Wonders, Regina Hall and Ike Barinholtz.
Weaving will play Barinholtz’s mistress in the festive comedy, described as ‘Bridesmaids’ in the North Pole.
Penned by Jimmy Warden, the spec script centres on a mother, played by Aniston, whose only hope of securing custody of her son from her gaslighting ex-husband is to find Santa Claus and convince him to testify at her divorce hearing.

Dinklage will play the legendary festive figure, while Barinholtz takes on the role of Aniston’s ex-husband. Wonders and Hall are set to play the mother’s best friends, rounding out a cast that promises plenty of comic potential as the festive season takes a decidedly chaotic turn.
Wilde will direct Naughty as her follow-up to the acclaimed relationship comedy The Invite at A24. The filmmaker will also produce alongside Warden, Margot Robbie, Tom Ackerley and Josey McNamara.
Universal Pictures has already set a theatrical release date for Naughty, with the holiday comedy scheduled to arrive in cinemas on 5 November 2027.
