Following on from last week’s first look image of Taron Egerton as Elton John in the forthcoming Dexter Fletcher directed Rocketman comes a teaser trailer.
Dexter Fletcher will take the helm on the biopic on one of the music world’s most iconic artists. Fletcher will also reunite with his Eddie the Eagle star, Taron Egerton who is set to play the Rocketman himself. To make the film that little more authentic, Egerton will perform Elton’s songs himself after wowing sources with his almost identical vocal talents.
Jurassic World’s Dallas Bryce Howard will play the role of Elton’s mother, Shiela Eileen, in the upcoming picture that focuses on John’s early music career. Taron Egerton will play Elton, Jamie Bell is Bernie Taupin and Richard Madden is set as music manager John Reid.
