With Twilight entering its, ahem, twilight Robert Pattinson’s future career will no doubt be of great interest to the millions of die hard fans of the vampire series, and these new pictures from Bel Ami should sate the desire to see more of Mr P.
As well as starring alongside Reese Witherspoon and Christoph Waltz in Water for Elephants, Pattinson will play Georges Duroy in an adaptation of Guy de Maupassant’s Bel Ami, adapted by Rachel Bennette and directed by Declan Donnellan and Nick Ormerod.
This will be Donellan and Ormerod’s feature debut after extensive work in the theatre and a short film The Big Fish in 1992, and they have drawn together an impressive cast including Kristin Scott Thomas, Christina Ricci, Uma Thurman, Colm Meaney and Philip Glenister. The film is currently in post production with no release dates set so far, but these pics look very promising.
