Signature Entertainment has unveiled the official trailer for ‘Rise of the Footsoldier: Retribution,’ the next explosive instalment in the hugely popular British crime franchise.

Arriving exclusively in UK cinemas on 28 August 2026, the new film sees Craig Fairbrass return as the infamous Pat Tate in what is being billed as the biggest and most ambitious chapter in the series yet.

Set against the sun-soaked backdrop of 1990s Ibiza, ‘Rise of the Footsoldier: Retribution’ takes the franchise’s trademark crime drama into a new arena, blending brutal revenge, high-octane action, international intrigue and a deadly weapons trafficking operation.

When Pat Tate heads to Ibiza to avenge the murder of a trusted friend, his mission quickly spirals into a much larger and more dangerous conflict. Tate becomes entangled in a weapons trafficking operation led by ruthless mercenaries, played by Tamer Hassan and Leo Gregory, while the CIA is closely monitoring the entire operation.

With rage fuelling every move, Tate becomes a one-man killing machine with revenge as his only objective. But his violent mission soon disrupts the high-stakes operations of arms dealers, mercenaries and American agents alike, placing a target firmly on his back.

Hunted from all sides, Tate must fight his way through a deadly web of international criminals and covert operatives in a brutal battle for survival. As the body count rises, there can only be one question: who will be the last man standing?

Craig Fairbrass returns as Pat Tate, alongside Tamer Hassan, Leo Gregory, Jamie Foreman, Jana Perez, Ross McCall, Vincent Regan and Phil Davis. Vanessa Bauer also makes her feature film debut.
