It’s the end of the world once again, and we find poor old Alice knee deep in a field of swaying zombies with only the conventions of a weary franchise saga keeping her from finding some sort of peace.
Which is another way of saying – hey gang! Resident Evil is back! The latest film’s subtitle of The Final Chapter seems inordinately optimistic given the propensity of the previous offerings to keep piling the undead into the path of our heroine, but this new trailer gives us hope that things may soon be over.

Paul W.S. Anderson returns to direct the (presumably last) in his film franchise and he’s brought back a greatest-hits collection of cast including leading lady Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, Shawn Roberts, Ruby Rose, Eoin Macken, Rola, Lee Joon-Gi, William Levy and the evil looking (in this film, let me clarify) Iain Glen.
