Ben Schwartz is one of our favourite actors to interview, so needless to say we were thrilled to have the opportunity arise once more, for the release of Renfield, where he stars alongside Nicolas Cage and Nicholas Hoult.
We asked him about playing a comedic villain and the challenges that come with that, and whether he had scope to improvise on set. He also chatted about the collaboration process with Cage, and showed his brand new mug….

Synopsis
Renfield, the tortured aide to his narcissistic boss, Dracula, is forced to procure his master’s prey and do his every bidding. However, after centuries of servitude, he’s ready to see if there’s a life outside the shadow of the Prince of Darkness.
