Lynne Ramsay long-awaited follow up to Morvern Caller, an adaptation of Lionel Shriver’s bestseller, We Need To Talk About Kevin, is currently in post-production and she’s managed to nab the immensely-talented Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood for scoring duties.

Greenwood previously made a huge impression with his brooding score for Paul Thomas Anderson’s There Will Be Blood. You may recall that prior to that year’s Oscar nominations, his work was ruled ineligible by the Academy due to the fact that the score was stymied by “diluted by the use of tracked themes or other pre-existing music” – an unfortunate ruling which many believed denied him of what would have been a guaranteed Oscar win.

With Radiohead gearing up to release a new album at the weekend, Greenwood has had his work cut out at the moment, having also recently completed the score for another adaptation – this time the screen version of cult author Haruki Murakami’s famed novel, Norwegian Wood.
