If you keep up with Aaron Sorkin’s final season of The Newsroom the overarching theme is the changing face of news reporting, and how traditional journalistic institutions can ride the oncoming wave of the digital revolution.

The News Hub is a new venture from William Stolerman whose philosophy with the new project is make ‘news sustainable while offering a news experience that’s made for the digital age’. Stolerman has put much stock in the notion of paying for the content produced by its users, though this now seems an obvious and moral choice for any ‘new generation of journalists’.

The new website is up here and they’ve chosen an unusual way of promoting their new citizen journalism thrust, with a video of a prank involving the Queen* and her corgis**.
