As Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice continues shooting in Detroit, some more possible plot details have found their way online relating to the villainous Lex Luthor’s plans in the movie.

Geek Tyrant claim to have heard from one of Batman V Superman’s extras, and they told the site that Luthor (played by Jesse Eisenberg) has somehow got his hands on the corpse of General Zod, the main villain from 2013’s Man of Steel. Another scene apparently featured Batman breaking into Lexcorp to steal Kryptonite.

As you may already know, Kryptonite is made from the radioactive material of Superman’s home planet of Krypton, and it is deadly to the superhero. Is Batman stealing it to get it out of Luthor’s grasp or to use it when he comes to blows with Superman at some point in the movie? We’ll have to wait and see!

They also mention that Batman V Superman begins either when the latter’s battle with Zod is ending or about to end and we pick up with Bruce Wayne as he is attempting to reach Wayne Tower in Metropolis.

Badass Digest would later verify this report, adding that Lex has apparently been gathering debris from the World Engine to synthesize Kryptonite, and is Zod’s corpse to create…something! What could it be? Well, the site strongly suggests that it’s Doomsday, the monster who killed Superman in the comics.

Him being the villain that Batman and Superman have to unite against makes sense, and a threat like that could also lead to the formation of the Justice League. For now though, take this with a pinch of salt!
