Ridley Scott’s take on the Outlaw of Sherwood Forest is one of the most anticipated films of the year and it was this film that opened the Cannes film festival yesterday.

The buzz has been cautiously positive thus far, with many people comparing it inevitably to Scott’s last collaboration with Russell Crowe, Gladiator. The stars of Robin Hood were out in force in Cannes last night to promote their film and we’ve got the official pictures from the after show right here which was sponsored by Lancia. Somehow they managed to borrow HeyUGuys private yaught for the event!
