Pixar have a remarkable habit of making people cry. Be them tears of happiness and joy, or as a result of tragedy and disaster – either way, chances are you’ll be leaving the cinema with red, swollen eyes. So it was time for us to confront the people behind this – as we sat down with Pixar regulars, Peter Sohn and Denise Ream.
This is the directorial debut of Sohn, however, and we asked how he came on board this project, and what it was about dinosaurs that they felt made for the perfect narrative. They also tell us whether they can feel the same emotions as a viewer and cry when watching the film back, and also whether we can expect this film to become a franchise, as we ask whether this is the last we may see of Arlo and Spot.
