Kelly Rohrbach is playing C.J. Parker in the upcoming big screen reboot of Baywatch, but the original may be making her return as well! Pamela Anderson has revealed in an interview today that she’s been asked to make a cameo in the movie which will star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Zac Efron. However, she hasn’t agreed to that…not yet, anyway!

“I haven’t turned it down completely yet. But I have turned down what they offered me,” she confirmed. “But we’ll see what happens…I haven’t even read the script. I have no idea what it’s about… ‘Baywatch’ was such a huge part of my life. And really they’re trying to do an homage and you know it’s an honour to have them to want me to be a part of it so bad.”

First look at Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron suited up on the set of Baywatch

Seeing Anderson return to the world of Baywatch in any sort of role would be a lot of fun, and with her comments causing such a stir online, the studio will no doubt now bend over backwards to get her in there somehow. It will be interesting to see if they end up courting any other cast members or if it’s just this iconic starlet who they’re hoping to bring back.

Directed by Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses), Baywatch revolves around a by-the-book leader of an elite team of lifeguards (Johnson) who’s forced to team with a rule-breaking hotshot (Efron) to save the bay from an oil tycoon (Priyanka Chopra). Set for release on May 19th, 2017, the cast also includes Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach, and Hannibal Buress.
