Like a phoenix rising from the flames the debut trailer for Only the Brave starring Miles Teller, Josh Brolin and Jeff Bridges has been revealed.
Directed by the man who is taking the helm on the long awaited sequel Top Gun sequel, Oblivion and Tron: Legacy director Joseph Kosinski, Only The Brave is based on real events of the brave fire fighters from Granite Mountain, a group of men who battled Yarnell Hill Fire in which 19 members of the team died sacrificing their own lives to save that of their families and community.
The trailer focuses on Brendan McDonough, who is played by Miles Teller, as he joins the elite group of fire fighters. Training alongside the men including team leader Josh Brolin who refuses to let the men tackle any blaze until the men are “ready”. It’s an epic blast of a trailer which some may see the similarities to last year’s Deepwater Horizon.
Also starring alongside Teller, Bridges and Brolin are James Badge Dale, Taylor Kitsch and Jennifer Connelly.
No official UK release date has been announced.
