To coincide with its debut on Star – the new channel geared towards adults on Disney+ – we sat down with Oliver Stark to chat about 9-1-1 as it enters its fourth year.
Created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Tim Minear, 9-1-1 follows policemen, paramedics, and firefighters who put themselves in dangerous situations to save people’s lives, as well as deal with their personal problems. As firefighter Evan “Buck” Buckley, Stark has been with the show since its inception and talks to us about his early memories of the show, his enjoyment of Byuck’s journey, why it has struck a chord with audiences so far – with the trend set to continue now it will be seen by so many more – as well as how the show has navigated the pandemic, both on and off-screen.
