Ahead of tonight’s 55th New York Film Festival screening, ‘Mudbound’
Highlights included Dee Rees describing working with Netflix, Carey Mulligan discussing playing a mother for the first time as a new mum in real life.

Official synopsis: In racially divided post-World War II Mississippi, two men – one black and one white – forge a friendship based on their shared war experiences.
Sundance acquired ‘Mudbound’ at this year’s Sundance Film Festival in January and will give it a limited cinema release in the US on 17th November with a simultaneous release on Netflix.
‘Mudbound’ screens at the New York Film festival 12th October with Q&A panel including Dee Rees, Carey Mulligan, Mary J. Blige, Jason Mitchell, Garrett Hedlund, Jason Clarke, and Rob Morgan.
