If the first trailer did nothing for you, and the weird poster didn’t convince you to book time off in February 2011 for the sadly inevitable 3D CG/live action whirligig of a Yogi Bear movie then this trailer will do nothing to change that.

There’s slapstick, food fights, pick-a-nic baskets and much mugging from Tom Cavanagh and while there’s clearly a desire to create something special the best we can say about this one so far from what we’ve seen is – Dan Ackroyd and Justin Timberlake. Together – at last!

Synopsis Ahoy!

Jellystone Park has been losing business, so greedy Mayor Brown (Daly) decides to shut it down and sell the land. That means families will no longer be able to experience the natural beauty of the outdoors — and, even worse, Yogi (Aykroyd) and Boo Boo (Timberlake) will be tossed out of the only home they’ve ever known. Faced with his biggest challenge ever, Yogi must prove that he really is “smarter than the average bear” as he and Boo Boo join forces with their old nemesis Ranger Smith (Cavanagh) to find a way to save Jellystone Park from closing forever.

Here’s the trailer, which answers the age old question about bears in the wood.
