It’s finally 2017, and that means we’re in a year which looks set to be one of the biggest ever for superhero movies. Among the most highly anticipated is Wonder Woman, and now a new international trailer has surfaced featuring some awesome never before seen footage. It’s a shame we can’t understand what they’re saying, but there’s some great stuff here.

As well as seeing Steve Trevor’s arrival on Themyscira as his plane crashes, there are other new shots of Wonder Woman’s home along with incredible scenes of Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince in action. To call her formidable would be an understatement, and it should be a lot of fun seeing the iconic hero head into World War I as she attempts to help stop the Germans.

However, they are far from the only threat Wonder Woman will face here, and we get to see her taking on an unknown villain with her lasso of truth at one point in the trailer below.

Wonder Woman also stars Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Ewen Bremner, Saïd Taghmaoui, and Lucy Davis. Directed by Patty Jenkins, principal photography has taken place on location in the UK, France and Italy. It’s set to be released July 2017.
