Force Friday may have come and gone, but you didn’t really think that was an end for Star Wars: The Force Awakens merchandise, did you? A second wave of products is expected to be released closer to December 17th, and with the first lot focusing almost exclusively on the new characters, you have to believe the classic heroes will take centre stage then.
That remains to be seen, but a new batch of Star Wars: The Force Awakens promo art and stills have found their way online today courtesy of a newly announced series of books.
To avoid spoilers, all of these are being released on December 18th, the same day that the movie is being released in North America and most other international locations. While the covers you can see below don’t reveal any major twists and turns, you have to believe what’s inside them does, especially as many are story books dealing with key moments.
Starring original cast members Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker and franchise newcomers, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Lupita Nyong’o and Max von Sydow, Star Wars: The Force Awakens is set to be released on December 17th.
