Those lucky chaps over at Empire have done it again and have been given a couple of new posters for MacGruber which stars Will Forte as the title character, Kristen Wiig, Ryan Phillipe, the man with the coolest name in the world – Powers Booth, and the iceman himself, Val Kilmer. It’s directed by Jorma Taccone and as the posters tell us, it’s released in the UK June 18th (or 21st May in the US).
Empire also give us the short synopsis:
The story sees Will Forte reprising his Saturday Night Live character MacGruber, a former Special Operative called back into operation when his old nemesis, Dieter Cunth (Val Kilmer), threatens to nuke Washington DC. He’s joined by Lt. Dixon Piper (Ryan Phillippe) and Vicki St. Elmo (Kristen Wiig).
