Daniel Craig returns to the big screen in just a few short weeks in Skyfall, reprising his role once more as James Bond for what promises to be one of the best action films of the year.

We’ve seen a handful of new images from the film this week, along with the latest video blog, and now Sony have released a new TV spot, giving us a slightly longer look at the twenty-second version we saw last week.

“In SKYFALL, Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.”

Craig is joined by an awesome cast, headed up by Javier Bardem, Bérénice Marlohe, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Whishaw, Albert Finney, Helen McCrory, Ola Rapace, and Dame Judi Dench.

Sam Mendes (American Beauty) is making his Bond debut behind the camera, directing from a script written by Bond frequents Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, and the ever-brilliant John Logan (Gladiator, Coriolanus).

The official theme song for the film, sung by Adele, is set to be released online in full at 0:07 tonight, just after midnight, so be sure to come back to hear it when it does.

Skyfall will be released in regular and IMAX theatres in the UK on 26th October, followed by a 9th November wide release in the US. In the States, the IMAX release will be hitting a day early, on 8th November, giving you the chance to see it first on the biggest screen possible. Everything we’ve seen from the film has been absolutely immense, and the anticipation is riding high. I can’t wait. For now, here’s the latest TV spot to get the adrenaline racing. Enjoy.
