A couple of weeks ago we posted this really cool poster for the original Tron and today we have a fan-made trailer courtesy of YouTube user DrewboiX and Crunch Gear for pointing us in the direction of it.
I recently rewatched the original Tron for the first time in eighteen years and I was pretty blown away by how well it stands up. The film still looked stunning and the story sucked me right in, despite the now obviously fantastical plotting, and it seemed to me that it is not nostalgia that is responsible for this film’s reputation and that it is actually a really good film.
This fan-made trailer is edited in the style of modern trailers and I think it could really sell the film to a younger audience unfamiliar with the original.
