A brand new trailer has been released for Fair Game, the latest movie to star Naomi Watts, Sean Penn, Noah Emmerich, Liraz Charchi and Nicholas Sadler. Yahoo debuted the trailer last night for the movie which is directed by Doug Liman (The Bourne Identity). I had no idea what this movie was about before I watched the trailer and was pleasantly surprised. Other than the deep husky voice over that they’ve shoved on it (why do they think they sound good?!) it looks like a great, intense thriller which I think has potential to be a great movie.
Synopsis: As a covert officer in the CIA’s Counter-Proliferation Division, Valerie Plame leads an investigation into the existence of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Valerie’s husband, diplomat Joe Wilson, is drawn into the investigation to substantiate an alleged sale of enriched uranium from Niger. But when the administration ignores his findings and uses the issue to support the call to war, Joe writes a New York Times editorial outlining his conclusions and ignites a firestorm of controversy.
Fair Game doesn’t have a release date as yet but we’ll keep you posted.
