With only a few short weeks until Ridley Scott’s Robin Hood is unleashed onto our big screens we’re being inundated with trailers, images and featurettes for the film and while the bulk of the marketing has focused on stars Russell Crowe, Cate Blanchett and the mighty Mark Strong this new video is all about the man behind the camera, Ridley Scott.
While most talk surrounding Scott recently has been about his forthcoming return to the Alien series or his Monopoly movie the press push for Robin Hood means Scott will be talking all about the outlaw of Sherwood forest and his merry men, although there’s nothing merry about anything I’ve seen so far.
It’s always interesting to see a director at work and this featurette from Yahoo lifts the veil as we get a good chance to see the man in action.
Robin Hood opens Cannes next month and opens all over the place on the 14th of May.
