Fantastic Four might be one of the most controversial movies of 2015. With many comic book fans rejecting this realistic take on the iconic Marvel Comics superheroes and rumours of some serious issues behind the scenes (which led to Josh Trank being fired from his Star Wars Anthology movie), it sounds like a mess.

A new TV spot has now been released which offers up some new snippets of action and sets that to a song which doesn’t exactly match up with the dark and gritty tone we’ve so far seen. Meanwhile, we also have a spread from the latest issue of Empire Magazine which offers up a great new look at the team assembled.

The Fantastic Four reboot is a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team, centres on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.

The team is made up of Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic (Miles Teller, Whiplash), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Kate Mara, House of Cards), Johnny Storm/The Human Torch (Michael, B. Jordan, Chronicle), and Ben Grimm/The Thing (Jamie Bell, Billy Elliot). Their main foe? Doctor Doom (Toby Kebbell, Black Mirror).
