I watched the Swedish vampire movie, ‘Let the Right One In’ over the weekend and I very much enjoyed it but I didn’t think it quite lived up to the hype in which it has received over the past 6 months. That said, the direction was brilliantly different and it was just a beautiful film. Have I contradicted myself there?!
If you’ve not heard already, an English speaking version of the movie is being made by the director of Cloverfield, Matt Reeves and will star Chloe Moretz who we’ll see in Kick-Ass later on this year and Kodi Smit-McPhee who is the child in The Road starring Viggo Mortensen.
The first poster (at least the first I’ve seen) has been released for the remake which many thing is completely unnecessary. I guess it’s the way of the world though that we’ll always need an English version cos people are too lazy to watch the subtitled one…… Am I right?
