My favourite piece of the marketing for Machete so far has to be the Red Band trailer Robert Rodriguez put out for his feature length updating of the Grindhouse trailer Machete, and in anticipation of its release next month there’s a new clip sent out in the ether today.
Directing with Ethan Maniquis, Rodriguez is clearly having a lot of fun with this film, and the trailers and posters put out so far point to a balls out, gory action flick and in a few weeks the US will get their hands on Danny Trejo’s Machete.
In this clip Trejo reunites with an old friend, played by Rodriguez regular Cheech Marin, to plot some highly irreligious revenge.
