Rather liking this new image of Christian Bale in his Batman suit as the times draws closer to the day that The Dark Knight Rises hits our screens. It’s potentially the most anticipated movie of 2012 and the hype will continue to build from now until it’s released on July 18th.
The new image sits on the cover of Entertainment Weekly which also has interviews with Bale on his role and Director Christopher Nolan and SlashFilm have snippets of the interviews which I’ve placed below:
Bale:
I can tell you the truth because I’m done with it: I felt immense pressure. And I think it’s a good pressure, because you owe it to the films — and the people’s expectations — to make great work.
Nolan:
I think when people see the film, things will come into focus. Bane is very complex and very interesting and when people see the finished film people will be very entertained by him.
Have to say, I’m very excited for this movie. The trailer was pretty epic and I can’t wait for the second theatrical to be released ahead of the movie.
