Following the release of that awesome new Empire Magazine cover for Captain America: Civil War, they’ve now revealed yet another alongside a batch of official images from the movie.

Along with the first official shot of Frank Grillo as Crossbones, characters like Bucky, Captain America, and Iron Man are all also featured, but who is that suited chap Martin Freeman is playing? Well, Empire has revealed that the Sherlock star is going to be showing up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Everett Ross, a member of the Joint Counter Terrorist Centre.

In the comics, he was a US government liaison to Wakanda, but it seems as if he’ll have a slightly more mysterious role in Captain America: Civil War. Will he show up in Black Panther? That remains to be seen, but it certainly seems as if he’s meant for bigger things!

The official synopsis reveals that Captain America: Civil War picks up where Avengers: Age of Ultron left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.

Starring Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Chadwick Boseman, Emily VanCamp, Daniel Brühl, Frank Grillo, William Hurt, and Martin Freeman, Captain America: Civil War is currently set to be released worldwide on May 6th, 2016.
